What's Happening!

Welcome To the Computer Consultants for Christ Web Site
Welcome to a web site that endeavors to provide (and allow others to provide) information about using technology to further/enhance the proclamation of the Good News about Jesus Christ.

A little about me:

I have been a software developer since 1989 and have programmed in the following languages: COBOL, Trinzic/Aion, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic 6 and C#.Net. I have also created web sites for my churches and church schools. Soon after graduating from college, the Lord gave me a vision of working full-time in the ministry of serving churches and Christian non-profits using technology. Since that time, I've worked for secular companies, but have been involved with technology in my local church, primarily in the area of the media ministry.

My vision:

Since we, as humans, can only be at one place at a time and our time is limited, my vision is to provide a place on the internet where I can list things that I have learned, which will hopefully be helpful to others. One facet of my vision is that others will come along beside me, adding their own experience and insights so that together we can all be more helpful than any of us can be alone. Another facet of my vision is that some day a salary/grant will be provided to me that will allow me to be able to set up and maintain web sites free of charge to churches and other non-profit organizations such as missionaries, allowing non-technical people to maintain the text on the site using portal technology.

Your vision?

If your vision is similar to mine, please let me know. Send me an email letting me know where your passion lies in regards to using media/technology in ministry and where you have a heart to serve. Maybe, together, we can combine our strengths to provide help to other ministries that have the same goal of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ.
